About the event
Treating yourself to an afternoon of creativity and community at our Sip & Sew event! On Saturday, May 23 at 1pm in Astoria, Queens, The Selfish Society is hosting a warm, beginner-friendly workshop just for Black women 35+.
Enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch and our signature Selfish Punch & mocktail as you unleash your creativity.
Design and sew two personalized pillow covers and mix your own soothing fabric spray.
Whether you’re a sewing newbie or just looking for a fun change of pace, come connect with a tribe of amazing women, share stories, and recharge your spirit.
This gathering is all about self-care and sisterhood. You’ll leave with handmade keepsakes and new friendships in a supportive space. Our goal is to help you unwind, feel inspired, and see how special you truly are.
